**Procurement of McFarland Reference Standards (McFarland Equivalence Turbidity Standard Set) for iThemba LABS, Cape Town.** Suitable bidders are suppliers of laboratory microbiology reference standards, capable of providing ready-to-use turbidity standards with datasheets, compliant with PPPFA/GCC, and able to deliver to iThemba LABS (Old Faure Road, Faure).

#### Requirements
- Provide McFarland Reference Standards in the specified range (0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 McFarland) with packaging and ready-to-use format. 
- Submit B-BBEE certification or sworn affidavit (if claiming specific goals).
- Complete and submit SBD 4 (Bidder Disclosure) and SBD 6.1 (Preference Points) with supporting BBBEE documentation.
- Register on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and supply CSD Summary Report; ensure tax compliance (PIN status).
- Prices must be inclusive of VAT and valid for at least 60 days from closing date; use 80/20 PPPFA scoring.
- Provide a firm delivery lead time; delivery to iThemba LABS; provide product datasheets/technical literature meeting minimum specifications.
- Payment terms: 30 days from date of invoice; advance payments require a payment guarantee.
- RFQ subject to PPPFA, GCC and any special Conditions of Contract; changes after closing date not permitted.
