#### Overview
**The Department of Water and Sanitation seeks to procure the supply and delivery of a mobile compressor, portable dust-free sand blast pot, crane cable greaser and other related materials to Midmar Dam near Howick town via a Request for Quotations (RFQ).** Bidders should be capable of supplying industrial equipment and maintenance tools, delivering to site, and complying with SA public procurement requirements (SBD forms, CSD registration, SARS tax clearance, CIPC and BBBEE provisions). 

#### Requirements
- Mandatory bid documents: complete and sign SBD forms (SBD1, SBD3.1, SBD4, SBD6.1); provide BOQ and pricing; ensure GCC forms are included. 
- Administrative compliance: CSD registration (MAAA), SARS Tax Compliance PIN, active CIPC registration, BBBEE status certificate or sworn affidavit, letter authorising the signatory, and proof of authority for joint ventures. 
- Technical compliance: meet specifications for Mobile compressor, Dust Free Sand Blast Pot, Wire Rope Grease Applicator and Wire Rope Dressing; provide brochures and complete the pricing schedule. 
- Specific goals: demonstrate Women, Disability and Youth ownership, local enterprise status (KZN), and BBBEE level where applicable, with required proofs. 
- Delivery and payment: firm prices, delivery to Midmar Dam, EFT payments, and a 120-day bid validity; time-critical delivery terms apply. 

#### How to Apply
- Submission deadline: 11 November 2026 at 11:00 (closing). 
- Submission method: original bid sealed and deposited in the Water and Sanitation bid box at Midmar Dam entrance, Howick (address in WH documents). 
- Documents to submit: SBD forms (1, 3.1, 4, 6.1), BOQ, fully completed pricing schedule, CK certificate, original Tax Clearance, CSD comprehensive report, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, Letter of Authority, signed GCC, and copies of shareholder IDs. 
- Pre-qualifications: CSD number, Tax PIN, active CIPC, BBBEE verification; ensure authority to sign is demonstrated. 
- Briefing: a briefing session may be held; attendance certificate is required (refer to T1.3/A).
