## Summary

#### Overview
**Contract for the supply and delivery of motor vehicle batteries.** Open-competition bidding targeted at Kenyan battery manufacturers or authorized distributors with capacity to supply and deliver to Nairobi City County.

#### Requirements

- Tender security of 100,000 Kenyan Shillings (cash, bank guarantee, insurer, or approved instrument) valid through tender validity.  
- Evidence of eligibility and conformity: complete Form of Tender; eligibility and conformity docs; country of origin declarations; conformity to technical specifications.  
- Manufacturer’s Authorization if the tenderer does not manufacture the goods; JV arrangements must include a Joint Venture Agreement or signed intent.  
- Tax clearance or exemption as required; proper accounts and registration where applicable.  
- All pages serialized, signed by authorized signatory; no more than one tender per firm or JV (with specific JV rules).
