## Summary

#### Overview
**The Chief Albert Luthuli Municipality invites bids for the supply and delivery of office furniture for three years (36 months) as and when required.** Suitable bidders are reputable suppliers with experience in office furniture, installation and delivery, able to provide VAT-compliant pricing, a valid tax clearance, B-BBEE verification, and registered on CSD; capable of delivering nationwide within the municipality’s area and meeting local procurement objectives.

#### Requirements
- Returnable documents: B-BBEE Status Verification, SARS Tax Clearance, company registration, municipal rates account in good standing, Company Profile, CSD Registration, proof of tender document purchase, and Audited AFS for 3 years.  
- Compliance forms: Fully completed MDB forms and Form of Offer, and adherence to GCC and any special contract conditions.  
- Evaluation: Functionality minimum 70% (Stage 2); Price scoring via the prescribed formula; Preferential procurement with 80/20 (price/municipal objectives) as the default (adjusted per bid value). Municipal objectives for local ownership and demographic goals apply (women, disability, youth, locality).  
- Eligibility: No bids from persons in the service of the state; no tender defaulter or fraud records; compliance with supply chain and tax requirements.  
- Contract terms: 36-month duration; VAT inclusive pricing; delivery and installation as per schedule.
