## Summary

#### Overview
**Supply and delivery of pharmaceutical products: drops, aerosols and inhaled medicines to the Department of Health for the period ending 31 August 2029.** The open tender invites suppliers of pharmaceutical products for a 180-day bid validity, with consortia/JVs allowed subject to usual requirements and JV agreements for multi-entity bids.

#### Requirements
- Tax compliance: provide SARS Tax Clearance Status via a SARS PIN (TCS); if bidding as a consortium/joint venture, each party must submit its own TCS/Pin; if no TCS, provide a CSD number. 
- Registration: bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide CSD MA AA numbers; provide VAT/Company details as applicable. 
- Business form and partnerships: consortia/joint ventures/partnerships may bid subject to the usual requirements; consortium/jv agreements may be required for multi-entity bids. 
- Documentation: complete and submit on official forms (SBD1, PBD3, PBD3.1, PBD4.1, SBD4, SBD6, SBD7 if applicable); for multi-entity bids, include PBD9.1/PBD9.2 disclosures and directors’ details. BBBEE/EME/QSE sworn affidavits or SANAS certificates where applicable. 
- Procurement rules: bid is subject to the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and GCC; price and specific goals (90/10) apply; contracts may require a signed contract form (SBD7).
