## Summary

**Procurement of the supply and delivery of prepaid electricity meters for a contract period ending 30 June 2027.** Bidders should be qualified meter suppliers capable of supplying and delivering prepaid meters to municipalities, with requirements including tax compliance, CIDB/CSD registration, BBBEE considerations, and local presence for locality scoring.

#### Requirements
- Tax clearance and/or Tax Compliance Status (TCS) pin and CSD registration numbers (MBD 2). 
- Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and, if applicable, CIDB registration.
- Completed MBD forms: MBD 1, MBD 2, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 8, MBD 9, MBD 15; pricing on MBD 3.1; contract forms MBD 7.1/7.2.
- BBBEE status certificate or sworn affidavit; proof required to claim specific-goal points.
- Proof of municipal accounts for directors and, if leaseholds are used, lease agreement or property affidavits (for locality points).
- Authority to sign: copy of board/resolution or proof of sole proprietor signature.
- Compliance with localities scoring: up to 10 points for locality within the municipality; up to 8 or more for other areas (as applicable).
- Bidders’ price and compliance in line with the 80/20 (80 Price / 20 Specific Goals) preference system (or 90/10 if applicable).

#### How to Apply
- Submission deadline: 14 August 2026, 12:00 (no late submissions).
- Submission method: sealed envelope with RFQ number and title; place in the Prince Albert Municipal tender box (Thusong Centre) or post to Private Bag X53, Prince Albert, 6930. Fax/e-mail/late bids not accepted.
