## Summary

#### Overview
**Procurement of supply and delivery of sports apparel and related equipment for a Mayoral Cup, including 28 soccer kits, 28 netball kits, 30 soccer nets, 30 netballs and 30 soccer balls, to be supplied to uMlalazi Municipality.** Bidders should be manufacturers or textile/sports‑equipment suppliers capable of 100% polyester kits, municipal logo embroidery, and delivery to municipal stores, with the ability to provide samples and brand/type disclosures as required (see SUPPLY AND DELIVER SPORTS APPAREL.pdf).

#### Requirements
- Experience and capability: bidder must demonstrate relevant project experience and establish a textile/sport‑goods company (functional criteria) [9.1–9.2] (see SUPPLY AND DELIVER SPORTS APPAREL.pdf).  
- Preferential procurement goals: BBBEE ownership levels, and enterprise location within uMlalazi/ district/province targets (weighting 80/20).  
- Compliance registrations: Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; valid tax clearance; Rates Clearance; COID/WCA registration; returnable documents.  
- Financials: Audited annual financial statements if offer exceeds R10 million (and related MBD5 declarations) (see 2.6).  
- Health and safety: OHSA section 37(2) agreement; COID compliance; OHSA adherence.  
- Delivery/quality: supply from reputable, traceable manufacturers; packing standards; samples/brand disclosures; five‑day delivery from order; delivery acceptance via delivery note; no partial payments; defect corrections within 2 working days.  
- Legal/contract: signed authority to sign; confidentiality of contract information; indemnity for patent/trademark rights.
