## Summary

#### Overview
**The South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) invites proposals to supply, deliver and install a female condom leak tester or to design, build and automate a female condom leak tester.** Bidders should have relevant experience in medical equipment, testing automation, and ISO 25841 compliance, with capabilities for on-site installation, training, calibration, and after-sales support.

#### Requirements
- Minimum technical compliance: proposed tester must test at least 4 condoms, operate at 6 kPa, use 220–240V supply, and conform to ISO 25841 (with a declaration of conformity).  
- After-sales and maintenance: 24-month warranty for equipment; 24/7 after-sales support; 24-month maintenance plan including preventative maintenance and FMEA.  
- Professional qualifications: evidence of company track record (reference letters within past 5 years); OEM approval or written confirmation of OEM status.  
- Delivery and installation: detailed lead times; delivery to SABS head office (DAP Incoterms 2020); on-site commissioning and training of SABS staff.  
- Compliance and registrations: valid tax clearance; CSD registration; BBBEE documentation; SBD forms (as per Appendix A–N); compliant with Treasury/CSD requirements.
