## Summary

#### Overview
**Procurement of supply, delivery and installation of office furniture for Electoral Commission offices in the Eastern Cape.** Bidders should be legal entities able to supply office furniture and comply with local-content declarations (Annexures B–E) and the submission requirements. The furniture scope includes desks, credenza, pedestal, boardroom table, filing cabinet, chairs, and related items, to be delivered to listed Eastern Cape delivery points and installed and ready for use. Local content and B-BBEE considerations apply; exemptions may be sought via the dtic where local content cannot be met.

#### Requirements
- Legally registered entity capable of supplying office furniture and meeting local-content rules (Annexures B–E) and related submission requirements.
- Ability to deliver to all Eastern Cape delivery points listed in Annexure A and to assemble and hand over furniture ready for use.
- Compliance with local-content calculations per SATS 1286:2017, including completing Annexures B, C, D, E and BOM; provide letters of guarantee from subcontractors if used; provide SABS certificates where applicable.
- Warranty: minimum 2-year manufacturer’s warranty and 5-year gas-mechanism warranty on chairs.
- Quality, delivery and after-sales expectations: conform to item specifications; adherence to delivery schedules; damaged/defective items replaced at bidder’s cost; possible re-tendering if schedules are not met.
- Evaluation framework: SBD4 disclosures, CSD/tax compliance checks, and 80/20 PPPFA scoring with local-content considerations.
