## Summary

#### Overview
**Procurement of supply, delivery and maintenance of fire equipment under a 12-month contract.** Bids are invited from reputable, experienced service providers with fire equipment supply, installation, maintenance and related services capabilities.

#### Requirements
- Central Suppliers Database (CSD) registration with proof or CSD registration number.
- MBD forms: MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8 and MBD9.
- Certificate of Authority to sign all tender documents, signed and dated on company letterhead; tender documents signed by an authorized person.
- 80/20 Preference Point System applies; 20 points for Specific Goals (RDP goals) and 80 points for price.
- 180 days price validity and detailed specification on quotation (second phase of evaluation requirements).
- Tender documents must be obtained via the municipality (non-refundable R250) and completed on the bidder’s letterhead with the required specifications. (see attached document)

Conditions: Tender documents will be available on the municipal website (www.umzimkhululm.gov.za) and will also be available from the cashier at 169 Main Street, uMzimkhulu, 3297 upon the non-refundable payment of R 250 per document or a bank guaranteed cheque made out to uMzimkhulu Municipality during working hours between 09:30am and 16:00pm from the 25th of September 2026; cut-off time for buying documents is the 29th of September 2026, 15 minutes before the briefing time.

Non-Compulsory briefing meeting is scheduled to take place at uMzimkhulu Municipality Makhosini Building Boardroom,247 Mzimkhulu Mlonyana Street, uMzimkhulu 3297.
