## Summary

#### Overview
**The ARC seeks a supplier to supply, deliver and offload live chickens (Boschveld 16-week-old hens 320 and 16-week-old roosters 40) to ARC-Irene Campus.** Bid is open to livestock suppliers with poultry, transport and veterinary-compliance capabilities, including CSD registration, tax clearance and BBBEE, who can provide quarantine and transport plans and complete required documents. Delivery is to ARC Institute; briefing is compulsory at the ARC Irene site (RFQ API01REQ007375; Re-advert).

#### Requirements
- Mandatory documents: at least 1 reference letter for livestock supply in SA within 6 years; minimum 4-week quarantine plan; detailed transportation plan with vehicle images; completion of Appendix B.
- Animal health: chickens free from HPAI, Newcastle, Salmonella; vaccination/disease-monitoring docs; veterinary health certificate and movement permit; birds must be tagged and dipped 1 week prior to delivery; transport must avoid extreme weather.
- Administration: bid submitters must be registered on CSD with full CSD report; sign Standard Bidding Documents (SBD); provide valid tax pin and BBBEE; submission to MoalosiT@arc.agric.za.
- Other: delivery to ARC Institute; indicate warranty/experience; adhere to 80/20 (price vs specific-goals) scoring; standard NT and ARC SCM terms.
