## Summary

#### Overview
**Procurement of supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of six air conditioners for Irene Weather Office (2 × 36000 BTU splits and 4 × 24000 BTU splits).** Target bidders: HVAC installers with capability to supply, install and commission split systems; experience in office deployments; ability to provide post-installation support and warranty. The RFQ sets a ceiling of up to R500,000 and requires adherence to SAWS procurement rules.

#### Requirements
- Supplier must be a registered South African supplier with VAT; provide SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or CSD number (if no PIN). Foreign bidders must comply with Annexure A procedures.  
- Complete and submit all standard bidding documents: Annexure A (Invitation), Annexure B (GCC), Annexure C (Bidder’s Disclosure), Annexure F (Preference Points), Annexure G (Pricing Schedule), Annexure H (Specifications), Annexure I (POPIA). SBD7 contract form will be required if awarded.  
- Adhere to Preferential Procurement: 80/20 system (price 80, specific goals 20); provide BBBEE level or sworn affidavit.

- Due diligence: SAWS may conduct site visits; approved premises and relevant accreditation may be required; SLA with performance scorecard upon award.  
- POPIA privacy consent and compliance with data protection.  
- Pricing must be VAT inclusive; provide price breakdown per item and delivery/installation/commissioning terms.
