## Summary

#### Overview
**Supply, delivery & offload of wooden utility poles for a 1-year period.** Swellendam Municipality invites bids from suppliers in the wood-products/forestry sector with capacity to supply wooden utility poles, arrange delivery to Swellendam and offload at municipal sites, in line with the municipality's SCM and preferential policy framework.

#### Requirements
- Valid Tax Compliance Status PIN (SARS).
- Quotations must be submitted on prescribed documents, in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the quotation number and description, to the Municipal Quotation Box by 11:00 on 02 October 2026.
- Quotations may be evaluated under the 80/20 Preferential Procurement Policy and the SCM Policy.
- Quotations valid for 60 days; late quotations and those received by email or facsimile will not be considered.
- The Council may accept the quotation in whole or part and is not bound to accept the lowest quotation; comply with standard municipal supplier eligibility requirements as applicable.

- Submission deadline: 02 October 2026 at 11:00; late submissions will be rejected.
- Submission method: sealed envelope placed in the Municipal Quotation Box at 11 Lind Street, Swellendam (open 24/7).
