**Procurement of data storage servers, monitor servers and high-speed networking equipment to expand and integrate a Ceph storage cluster at CHPC, with on-site installation and five-year support.** Bidders must be OEMs or authorised resellers, capable of delivering to the CHPC in Cape Town, meeting extensive storage, networking and support specs, and providing robust pre- and post- sales documentation.

- Hardware specs: 16-core+ CPUs, 256GB+ RAM, 24TB HDDs (non-SMR), 3840GB NVMe for cache, 480GB OS SSD, 100GbE NICs, 5-year warranty; OAM/OS/network integration.
- Networking gear: 100Gbps switches, compatible with Nvidia/Mellanox/Cisco/FS.com; appropriate ToR/mid‑rack switches and cabling.
- Delivery: on-site to CHPC, with lead times (≤30 days from PO; ≤6 months total from PO); unpacking, racking, Ubuntu 26.04 installed, with full documentation.
- Support and warranties: 5-year, next-business-day on-site support; OEM warranty where applicable.
- Documentation and references: data sheets, speed tests; minimum three contactable references; OEM/reseller proof; CSD registration; SARS tax compliance (PIN/TCS).
