## Summary

#### Overview
**The procurement is the supply, deliver, install, service and maintain fire equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus for Magalies Water treatment plants for 5 years in the West & Far West area.** Open to bidders with capability to supply and service fire protection gear and SCBA across multiple sites, with adherence to SANS, OHS and environmental standards. The contract runs 5 years and is an open tender, with a virtual briefing and mandatory participation.

#### Requirements
- Tax/compliance: provide SARS tax PIN or be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and supply a CSD number; consortiums require separate tax/compliance documentation.  
- Mandatory requirements: attend the virtual compulsory briefing (15 June 2026); provide COIDA letter of Good Standing; submit electronic copy plus hard copy; include POPIA consent; provide references; include SBDs and authority for signatory.
- Technical certifications: SANS 1475, SANS 101391, BA sets; SANS 10227, SANS 10019, SANS 10338; SABS certification/marking; ISO 9001 certificate; proof of technician certifications and vehicle branding; maintain an asset register and issue service certificates.
- Financial/contractual: signed Schedule of Deviations if any; signed Form A (Offer) and Form B (Acceptance) when applicable; valid tax clearance; COIDA compliance; 3 client references; pricing schedule completion.
- Evaluation criteria: minimum 70 points for functionality (project experience, project manager qualifications, number of certified technicians, ISO 9001, equipment/service capability); then 80/20 price and specific goals (B-BBEE) preferences apply.
- Insurance: Public Liability cover (R5m per incidence).
- Other: adherence to National Environmental Management Act and local regulations; ability to deliver within Magalies Water’s working hours and schedule; potential site visits during evaluation.
