## Summary

#### Overview
**Provision of Insurance Services for a period of three years to Kumkani Mhlontlo Local Municipality.** Open to suitably qualified bidders with experience in managing short-term/medium-term insurance portfolios for municipalities, including claims handling, risk management, reporting, and compliance with POPIA and SCM policies. 

#### Requirements
- Proven track record in managing medium-term insurance for municipal or similar clients; ability to interpret Terms of Reference and manage insurer relationships. 
- Minimum of five years relevant experience and possession of, at minimum, the IISA qualification; attach certified copies of qualifications and detailed CVs (certifications no older than 3 months). 
- Returnable documents: CSD number, SARS PIN, tax compliance status, company profile with references; certified B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit/SANAS accreditation; proof of municipal rates/lease; JV documentation where applicable; all MBD forms signed by directors. 
- Compliance with the SCM policy and local content requirements; participation in the 80/20 (or 90/10) price and goals-based evaluation, with specific goals verified (HDI equity, youth, women, disability, rural). 
- POPIA addendum and data protection obligations; compliance, security measures, and audit readiness.
