## Summary

#### Overview
**Procurement of a service provider to design, supply, install, commission and maintain a Lithium‑Ion Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Kimberley and George Airports for 36 months.** Target bidders are CIDB 7EP+ contractors with electrical/engineering capability in BESS, familiar with interconnection to Eskom/ACSA grids, and compliant with CIDB, tax and safety/IR requirements. Mandatory pre-conditions include attendance at briefing sessions, signing of forms, and proof of COIDA; CIDB rating must be 7EP or higher; SARS/CSD or Tax Compliance status is required.

#### Requirements

- Compulsory briefing attendance (Kimberley and George)
- Complete and sign Form of Offer and Acceptance (C1.1)
- Complete and sign Bidder Disclosure form SBD 4
- Proof of COIDA (or good standing with Labour)  
- Tax compliance: SARS PIN or CSD registration; separate PIN if in a joint venture
- No bids from persons in the State or related restrictions per tender rules
