## Summary

#### Overview
**The Eswatini Electricity Company invites consultancy services to review and update the Short-Term Generation Expansion Plan 2034 for the ASCENT Eswatini project.** Eligible consulting firms must have at least ten years’ energy-sector planning experience, demonstrated electricity-demand forecasting and generation expansion planning, at least one Africa-based generation expansion assignment, the ability to work with electricity utilities, English-language submissions, and the ability to provide end-user/completion certificates. JV/consortiums are allowed; proper corporate registrations and five years of annual financial records are required.

#### Requirements
- At least ten (10) years’ experience in energy-sector planning, power-system studies, electricity-generation planning, energy economics or related advisory services.
- At least two (2) relevant assignments in electricity-demand forecasting, least-cost generation expansion planning, energy modelling, power-system or grid-integration studies, generation-technology assessment, energy economics.
- Demonstrated experience of at least two (2) relevant electricity-generation planning assignments.
- Proven experience of at least one (1) generation expansion planning assignment in Africa.
- Demonstrated experience with utility transmission networks.
- Copies of certificates of incorporation/registration; valid tax registration and clearance; last five years’ financial records; corporate profile with QA plan; evidence of licensed power-system analysis software (PSS®E, DIgSILENT Power Factory, ETAP, PSCAD or equivalent).
- JV/consortiums allowed; lead partner must demonstrate substantial relevant experience; English submissions; translations if certificates are not in English.
- All submittals in English.
