#### Overview
**The RFQ is for the appointment of a qualified HVAC service provider to supply, deliver and install new air conditioning units, remove and reposition an existing unit, and dispose of an old unit at Luthuli Museum.** Bidder suitability requires CIDB level 1ME or higher, HVAC expertise, and relevant registrations/certifications (see details in documents). #### Requirements
- CIDB contractor grading: 1ME or higher; joint ventures permitted under CIDB rules.
- Proven HVAC experience (supply, installation, maintenance) within last 5 years; accreditation as HVAC technician.
- Registration/proof with SAIRAC/SARACCA/ECASA or equivalent national body.
- Certified wireman’s license; SAQA-recognised HVAC/electrical qualifications; proof of registration (SAQCC).
- Central Supplier Database (CSD) full registration; SARS Tax Pin; BBBEE affidavit/certificate; CIPC documents.
- Public liability insurance; COIDA certificate/good standing.
- SBD 4 (Bidder Declaration) and SBD 6.1 (Preference Form); GCC copies (initial all pages).
- Minimum 3 traceable reference letters (not older than 5 years); CVs of key personnel.
- Compliance with OHSA/environmental safety; refrigerant-handling knowledge; reporting/maintenance capability.
