#### Overview
**The CSOS seeks a service provider to renew and support the Storvault Enterprise Backup Solution for a two-year period.** Bidders should have proven experience with Storvault backups, enterprise data protection (endpoints, servers, virtual, SQL, and Microsoft 365), disaster recovery/BCP, and cloud-based deployments with South Africa data residency. Mandatory reseller proof is required (Storvault OSM letter or distributor letter).

#### Requirements
- Renewal and 24-month support for Storvault Enterprise Backup Solution, including storage, monitoring, reporting, advisory services, and assisted restore testing; coverage for endpoints, servers, VMs, and M365 cloud workloads; plus DR/BCP alignment.
- Data residency: cloud-based solution with South Africa data residence; confirm data location and processing practices (POPIA-aligned).
- Security: encryption in transit/rest, MFA for admin access, RBAC, immutable backups where available, threat detection, and audit logging.
- Governance and transfer: documentation and knowledge transfer to CSOS staff; training manuals; access for at least five CSOS staff; ongoing support, incident management, and monthly service reporting.
- Qualifications: five client references for Storvault deployment/maintenance; CV of the technical lead (Storvault experienced); complete documentation and skills-transfer plan; pricing for the full two-year period.
- Compliance: Tax compliance (SARS PIN), CSD registration, BBBEE / CIPC documentation, SBD forms; Storvault reseller evidence; data-residency letters.
