#### Overview
**The appointment of a suitable service provider for the provision of once-off helicopter services for SANParks Veterinary Wildlife Services across Addo Elephant National Park, Mountain Zebra National Park and Camdeboo National Park (R44 or equivalent four-seater piston helicopter).** The contract covers August–September 2026 with specified flight hours per park and requires SACAA licensing, certified pilots and related insurance. #### Requirements
- Regulatory and licensing: valid SACAA Air Operating Certificate (AOC) in bidder’s name, SACAA OPSPEC for General Air Service Class iii, Aircraft Category H2, and SACAA Commercial pilot license with required documentation; Air Services License Class III (G3/G10/G15) with Aircraft Category H2; insurance of at least R50,000,000 combined third party and passenger liability; POPIA compliance; CSD registration or SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN.  
- Aircraft and operations: four-seater piston helicopter (Raven 44 or equivalent) for animal capture; park hours totaling 70 hours (Addo 30, MZNP 30, Camdeboo 10).  
- Pilots and qualifications: dedicated pilot with ≥500 game-capture flight hours; ≥1000 total helicopter hours; valid commercial helicopter license with supporting documents (medical, proficiency, DG, CRMS, etc.).  
- Documentation: complete SBD1, SBD4, SBD6.1, SBD7.2; pricing schedules; BBBEE documentation to claim specific goals; proof of insurance or undertaking.  
- Registrations and pre-qualifications: CSD proof; SARS TCS PIN or equivalent; status checks on eligibility (no service-of-state conflicts).  
- Evaluation: mandatory compliance check; technical evaluation with thresholds; preferences under 80/20 system with BBBEE documentation.
