## Summary

#### Overview
**The Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment seeks to appoint one service provider to render physical security services and access control at Brits Office – North-West, 110 Hamilton Street and Environment House, Arcadia, Pretoria – Gauteng for 36 months.** Bidder should be a security services provider with PSIRA Grade C capability, experience in guarding and access control, and compliance with MPSS, PSIRA, COIDA, UIF, and related labour and safety regulations.

#### Requirements
- PSIRA registration for the company and all drivers/officers; proof of registration for key staff.  
- Tax and compliance: SARS PIN/CSD registration, tax compliance status.  
- COIDA and UIF compliance with valid letters of good standing.  
- Proof of office address (Pretoria or Brits) and proof of registration for the business.  
- Public liability insurance minimum R1,000,000.  
- Rates aligned with the latest PSIRA minimum rates; pricing to be submitted in Annexure A/SBD 3.3.  
- Compulsory briefing session attendance; briefing date 06 July 2026.  
- Completion and submission of SBD documents: SBD1, SBD3.3 (Pricing), SBD4, SBD6.1; CSD/PIN as applicable.  
- Annexure B (Project Team Leader CV) and Annexure C (Consent and Indemnity).  
- Preference points claims require B-BBEE verification and CSD report.

- Briefing session: mandatory, 06 July 2026, Environment House, 473 Steve Biko Road, Arcadia; attendees must register on site.  
- Closing date and time: 24 July 2026 at 11:00 AM; bid must be delivered to the DFFE bid box at Environment House (or as specified in the documents).
