#### Overview
**The appointment of a professional service provider to undertake a full review of the National Protected Areas Expansion Strategy (NPAES) 2018-2025 and develop an updated NPAES aligned with KM-GBF Targets 2030, for seven months.** Eligible bidders include biodiversity scientists, protected-areas planners, GIS specialists, and environmental-finance experts with relevant registrations and compliance.

#### Requirements
- Project team leader/expert must be SACNASP registered (certificate or good standing)
- Project leader/expert must be a SACNASP-listed GISc Practitioner with a letter of good standing
- Tax compliance: SARS PIN and/or CSD number; separate PINs for each consortium member
- Completion of SBD documents: SBD1, SBD3.3 (Annex A), SBD4, SBD6.1, plus Letter of Authority and Consent/Indemnity (Annex C)
- B-BBEE status: valid SANAS-verification certificate or accredited certificate or sworn affidavit
- Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration or CSD number/MAAA
- Note: two mandatory requirements apply (SACNASP registration for the project leader and GISc registration for the lead expert)
