**The NRF-SAASTA invites bids from service providers with CIDB Grade 1 CE (or higher) to construct a steel-reinforced concrete slab on natural ground and excavate a 65 m trench line, at the Albertina Nontsikelelo Sisulu Science Centre in Cofimvaba.** Eligible bidders are civil/construction contractors with CIDB 1 CE or higher and relevant experience in slab casting, trenching, conduit installation, and related site works.

#### Requirements
- CIDB Grade 1 CE (or higher) valid (mandatory)  
- At least one contactable reference letter for concrete works/slab construction and civil works  
- Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) or provide CSD number; Tax Clearance/Tax status confirmation  
- SANAS-accredited BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (for preference points)  
- Complete and sign all standard bidding documents (SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1) and annexes  
- Attend compulsory briefing/site visit (hybrid) on 16 Sep 2026; site inspection at Cofimvaba  
- Submission of priced offer with VAT-inclusive pricing and cost breakdown (per Annex E)
