#### Overview
**The Agricultural Research Council seeks a qualified service provider to supply a Cold Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) hosted in South Africa for 36 months.** This opportunity targets DRaaS providers with SA data-residency capability, ISO certifications (27001, 22301), OEM accreditation, and proven SA-based DR readiness experience. Bidders must register with PURCO SA and attend the compulsory information session.

#### Requirements
- Compulsory Physical Information Session attendance (22 Sep 2026; ARC, Hatfield). Late entry not allowed.  
- OEM accreditation for DRaaS with valid proof.  
- ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 certifications with proof.  
- Insurance: Cyber liability/Professional Indemnity not less than R700k (FSCA-accredited); 20% PI cover of contract value.  
- Tax compliance: SARS TCS PIN or CSD number; VAT considerations; BBBEE status.  
- SA-hosted DRaaS in a Tier III data centre within SA; security, encryption, air-gapped copies.  
- Experience: minimum five years in DRaaS; minimum of three client references; project team CVs with relevant certifications.  
- Administrative: complete SBD forms, pricing in SBD 3.3, and adhere to 180-day proposal validity; no price changes during tender validity.  
- Sub-contracting: max 25% to non-B-BBEE-equivalent.
