## Summary

#### Overview
**The RAF seeks a service provider to supply Close Protection Services on a month-to-month basis for up to four months.** Bid eligibility targets security professionals with armed close protection capabilities, PSIRA registration, firearms competency, driver qualifications, and the ability to deploy an executive protection team with a suitable vehicle and related security measures (Annex C; RFQ PR10118636).

#### Requirements
- Mandatory qualifications (Armed Close Protector and Driver roles): Grade 12, Close Protection certificate, PSIRA registration, firearm competency certificate (COC), valid driver’s license, basic first aid, SAPS clearance, and Advanced Driving (offensive/defensive).
- Reliever/driver role: same certificates plus driver-specific duties; formal dress code.
- Vehicle/equipment: 4-door executive sedan (BMW/Merc class) with 70% tinted windows, roadworthy; fleet cards for fuel/oil/tolls; rifles with 2 magazines (30 rounds each).
- Security and compliance: adherence to Annexure A security measures (document handling, access control, storage, cybersecurity, incident response, audits) and POPIA compliance; RAF to conduct security screenings and require data protection assurances; CSD registration and SARS tax compliance; RAF prefers CSD-registered suppliers.
- Evaluation: 80/20 price vs specific goals; specific goals include HDI ownership (10 points), women (8 points), persons with disabilities (2 points) with proof required (SBD 6.1).
