**TO APPOINT A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER TO COMPILE AND PRODUCE THE TRIENNIAL STATE OF THE FORESTS REPORT FOR 2022-2024, TO BE COMPLETED WITHIN A PERIOD OF TWELVE (12) MONTHS.** The contract targets forestry/environmental science professionals with data collection, spatial and non-spatial analysis, stakeholder engagement, and report design/publishing, including printing 600 copies.

#### Requirements
- Project Team Leader and project team with Forestry/Environmental Sciences/Natural Resources Management qualifications; Master’s level preferred; CVs showing relevant leadership and Forestry/Environment reporting experience.
- Demonstrated ability to collect, analyse and publish forestry data, including spatial data (forest extent, ownership, conservation areas, plantation categories) and non-spatial data ( socio-economic benefits, governance, health).
- Capability to conduct national stakeholder consultations and integrate inputs into the final report.
- Compliance with tax, CSD/SARS requirements, B-BBEE or sworn affidavit, POPIA, SAQA evaluation for foreign qualifications if applicable.
- Envisaged project governance: inception within 2 weeks, full report within 12 months, design/layout, and final printing of 600 copies; regular progress reporting and adherence to GCC/SCC.
