## Summary

#### Overview
**This tender seeks a two-year term contract for servicing, repairs and maintenance of mechanical equipment for the Department of Social Development in the Alfred Nzo District.** Eligible bidders are CIDB Grade 3ME or higher contractors with suitable HVAC/mechanical maintenance capability, and who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and compliant with tax, POPIA and related conditions.

#### Requirements
- CIDB: 3ME or higher (class of works) and active status through award; JV options governed by CIDB rules.
- CIDB/CRS/CRS-CIDB as applicable.
- Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and proof of registration with bid submission.
- Tax compliance: SARS good standing, PIN/CSD verification; separate TCS for JV/consortia.
- Returnable documents: SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, Compulsory Enterprise Questionnaire, Certificate of Authority for JV (if applicable).
- Proof of qualifications for personnel: diesel/electro-mechanic or refrigeration/AC trade certificates; accompanying employment history letters.
- Minimum three client references for HVAC/mechanical maintenance projects; project declarations and annexures as required.
- Pricing: complete Bills of Quantities; fixed rates for contract duration; include all duties/taxes except VAT.
- Insurance/Performance bond: insurer undertaking to provide required performance bond or surety as per DPWI policy.
- Additional compliance: POPIA consent; Cipro/ownership documentation as applicable; adherence to SBD/PPPFA requirements.
- Evaluation: Phase 1 compliance; Phase 2 functionality (minimum 70 points); Phase 3 PPPFA (80/20 price and goals).
