## Summary

#### Overview
**Two-year term contract for supply, servicing, repairs and maintenance of electrical equipment for Amathole District and Buffalo City Metro Cluster Two.** Open to contractors with a CIDB grading of 3EB or higher (EB), using NEC3 Term Service Contract; documents are downloadable from the EC DPW website (Tender Document).

#### Requirements
- CIDB grading: 3EB or higher (or capability to register prior to evaluation); joint ventures allowed with lead partner EB grade and JV agreement.  
- Registration and compliance: must be on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD); proof of registration required; tax matters in order (SARS PIN or CSD status).  
- Returnable documents: Form of Offer and Acceptance; SBD 4; SBD 6.1; Compulsory Enterprise Questionnaire; complete priced Bills of Quantities & Final Summary; at least 3 project references; certified wireman’s license/electrician certificate and technician ID; completion certificates.  
- Local content/goals: comply with local production/content rules; complete Local Content declarations; locality points apply (Eastern Cape office within specified municipalities).  
- Additional conditions: POPIA consent; provide insurer/guarantee for performance bond after appointment; valid CIDB certificate; signatories authorized to sign; no State empregados conflicts.
