#### Overview
**SANRAL invites bids for CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE ROUTINE ROAD MAINTENANCE on five Eastern Cape route projects (X.003-096-2026/1F, X.003-098-2026/1F, X.003-101-2026/1F, X.003-102-2026/1F, X.003-105-2026/1F).** This is open to consulting engineers with relevant road-maintenance experience, registered professional status, and CIDB/B-BBEE/compliance requirements. Tenderers must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database at tender closing.

#### Requirements
- Registered on National Treasury Central Supplier Database at tender closing date.  
- Meet the minimum key-person requirements (Contract Engineer) and provide permanent staff details; submit B-forms for key personnel.  
- Tax compliance with SARS PIN or CSD registration; COIDA letter of good standing; B-BBEE verification or sworn affidavit.  
- Joint Ventures allowed only if one partner is a Targeted Enterprise; JV partner cannot contribute to the Targeted Enterprise subcontracting target.  
- Returnable schedules/certificates must be completed and submitted (A1–A23; B1–B6; C2.2; etc.).  
- Tenderers must not submit alternative tenders.  
- Subcontracting: minimum 30% to black-owned Targeted Enterprises; require Subcontracting Agreement and Targeted Enterprise B-BBEE documents at award.
