Acacia Power Station Fire Detection System

Overview

The Acacia Power Station Fire Detection System maintenance and support is being procured under a NEC3 TSC3 professional services contract. It covers routine and non-routine maintenance of the Fire Detection System at Acacia Power Station, including labour, materials, supervision and transportation, with a five-year service period and a 3-year warranty on components. Bidders should be capable professional service providers with relevant fire-detection/engineering experience, Eskom eligibility, CIDB registration, and ability to work under an open, multi-party tender framework. Joint ventures/consortia are allowed; bidders must comply with confidentiality, integrity and local-content requirements per the Tender Data and Annexures.

Requirements

• Meet Eskom eligibility criteria; must not be restricted to do business with Eskom or state-owned entities; no sanctions nationality; no more than one tender unless on permitted e-tendering limits; joint ventures must be jointly and severally liable.
• Avoid conflicts of interest; signatories must be authorised; adhere to Eskom standard tender conditions and supplier integrity pact.
• Provide Local Content Declarations (CPA/IG where applicable) and complete required SBD and annexures (SBD 1, SBD 6.1, SBD 4) with local-content evidence where designated materials apply.
• CIDB registration and SDL&I commitments as applicable; submit CIDB-related attachments.
• Attend compulsory clarification/site briefing and comply with safety, quality and contract governance requirements as per attached annexures.
