Overview

Procure secure, self-catering student accommodation for 98 learners for one month, within 10 km of Necsa and RCL; bidders should operate facilities capable of housing 98 students with appropriate safety, security, and kitchen amenities.

Who should consider bidding: providers of student housing with the capacity for 98 beds, compliant with safety and municipal norms, and able to service 33 learners at RCL Pretoria West and 65 at Necsa.

Requirements

• Accommodation tariff cap: maximum R5,500 per student, inclusive of VAT, for the duration.
• Location: within a 10 km radius of Necsa and RCL.
• Facility features: single or sharing rooms; single bed; cupboard; chair and study table; laundry; bathroom; recreation area; self-catering capability; kitchen with stove and refrigerator.
• Documentation (see RFQ doc for full list): Tax Clearance Certificate (SARS PIN); Declaration of Interest (SBD 4); B-BBEE certificate or applicable EME affidavit; Letter of Good Standing (COID) if applicable; Municipal compliance certificates where applicable; Letter of Intent from property owner and bidder confirming availability and consent; Schedule of accommodation facilities (addresses, beds, monthly rate).
• PPPFA 80/20 evaluation; 20 points for B-BBEE status level contributor.
