ACCREDITATION OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING COURSES FOR CPD POINTS AND THE VERIFICATION OF THE ESKOM ACADEMY OF LEARNING AS A CPD SERVICE PROVIDER BY A RECOGNISED VOLUNTARY ASSOCIATION AS PRESCRIBED BY THE ENGINEERING COUNCIL OF SOUTH AFRICA (ECSA) FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE (05) YEARS.

Overview

Accreditation of Electrical Engineering courses for CPD points and verification of the Eskom Academy of Learning as a CPD service provider by ECSA for five years. Bidders should have CPD accreditation capability, experience with ECSA CPD rules, and a demonstrated ISO 9001 quality-management system to support Eskom’s governance requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to accredit Electrical Engineering CPD courses and verify CPD service providers under ECSA (as-and-when-required basis).
• Demonstrate ISO 9001-compliant QMS and provide Form A acknowledgments with ISO 9001 certificates, internal/external audit reports, and related QMS documentation (per Eskom Supplier Quality Management).
• Provide draft Contract Quality Plan (CQP) and Quality Control Plan/Inspection and Test Plan (QCP/ITP) for Eskom review, including sub-supplier quality management if applicable.
• Submit tender returnables and documentation per the scope (e.g., Form A and List of Tender Returnables 240-12248652).
