Overview

Accredited SDP or Assessment Centre for the development of Assessment Tools for Occupational Qualification: Automotive Sales Advisor (SAQA ID 118097). Bidders with SAQA-recognised SDP accreditation and proven capability to develop assessment instruments, RPL tooling, and QASA, plus capacity to obtain QCTO approval, are invited. Deliverables include three assessment instruments, one exemplar, an RPL Toolkit instrument, the QASA, and support for the QCTO submission. The project is expected to run 6–24 months, and the team must include a lead SME and at least three assessors/moderators. (See Scope of Work Accedited SDP 118097.pdf and RFQ documents for details.)

Requirements

• Valid QCTO-recognised SDP accreditation for Automotive Sales Advisor (SAQA 118097) or closely related qualification.
• At least one registered assessor or moderator with minimum 3 years’ experience; provide statement of results and assessor/moderator certificate.
• Signed SLA/MoA with a relevant industry partner supporting assessment development/validation/workplace relevance.
• Demonstrated experience in developing assessment instruments, RPL tools, or QAS/QASA; provide 3 signed, dated, contactable reference letters on company letterhead (2020–date).
• Lead SME and a team of at least 3 assessors/moderators as part of the bid.
• Administrative compliance: complete SBD forms (SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 7.1), submit Pricing Schedule, provide CSD number, VAT/tax compliance, and BBBEE documentation as required.
• Preference points: 80/20 system with specific goals (e.g., 51%+ black ownership; 30%+ black women; 30%+ black youth; 30%+ white women; 20%+ PwD ownership).
