Overview

The City of Tshwane invites bids for the supply, delivery and offloading of bulk growth media for the nursery, as and when required, for a period not exceeding 12 months. Bids are via an online Ariba portal (not the tender box), with a mandatory briefing at the City of Tshwane Municipal Nursery and a closing date of 25 September 2026. Requirements

• Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with a valid CSD number.
• Tax compliance: provide SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or CSD status; up-to-date municipal rates and taxes for the bidder and all owners/directors.
• MBD forms: submit fully completed MBD1, MBD4 and MBD6.1 (and any other required MBD forms). Authorized signatory or delegation letter required.
• BBBEE: provide a BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; preference points apply (80/20 system).
• Audited financials: provide signed audited statements for the last 3 years (or proof not legally required).
• Mandatory briefing attendance: bidder(s) must attend the compulsory briefing.
• Pricing: all items must be priced in the pricing schedule; no corrections via correction fluids; pricing must align to 10 m³ truckloads where specified.
• Product scope (from attached scope): Bark-based growth media (10 m³), Nursery milled potting media (10 m³ and 30 dm³ bags), and Topsoil (10 m³), delivered within 14 days and compliant with specification details. (Q26-2026-27 QUOTATION DOCUMENT.pdf)
