Overview

Salima District Council invites sealed bids (one-envelope) for construction and upgrading works under the Reformed Constituency Development Fund (RCDF), covering roads, drainage, bridges and a staff house in Salima District, to be procured via a Request For Quotation (RFQ). Bids are open to eligible contractors registered with CIRA in the relevant categories and where bidders meet the eligibility criteria defined in the bidding documents.

Requirements

• Must be registered with CIRA in relevant categories.
• Bidding documents are in English and the bidder must comply with the Instructions to Bidders.
• Purchase of bidding documents for MK20,000 non-refundable.
• Bids valid for 120 days after bid opening.
• Bids must be delivered to The Chairperson, Internal Procurement and Disposal Committee, Salima District Council; deposited in the Tender Box by 13:00 local time on 20 October 2026.
• Bids opened in the presence of bidders at the Salima District Council Chamber at 13:00 on 20 October 2026.
• Late bids are rejected; non-compliance leads to disqualification.

How to Apply

• Obtain bidding documents from the Salima District Council office and pay the non-refundable MK20,000 fee (cash); documents will be collected by the bidder.
• Submit sealed bids by 13:00 local time on 20 October 2026, delivered to the Chairperson, Internal Procurement and Disposal Committee; place in the Tender Box at the Salima District Procurement Unit Office.
