Overview

Appointment of a service provider for replacement, mechanical repairs and maintenance to small plant & equipment (e.g., lawn mowers, brush cutters, wheeteaters, jackhammers) for a period of 1 year. This invitation is for service providers with capabilities in mechanical repairs and maintenance of small power tools and equipment, to be evaluated under the municipality’s SCM policies.

Requirements

• Evaluation will be in terms of the 80/20 Preference Point System and the municipality’s SCM Policy.
• BBBEE: 10 points; Locality points as follows: within Oudtshoorn municipality 10, Eden District 5, Western Cape 2, outside Western Cape 0.
• All prospective providers not yet registered on the Central Supplier Database must register (online via www.csd.gov.za).
• No bids from persons in the service of the State will be considered.
• Quotations must be valid for 90 days after closing date.

How to Apply

• Submit sealed quotations in the municipal quotation box at 26 Church Street, Oudtshoorn, by 14 August 2026 at 12:00.
• Fully completed quotation documents must be submitted on the original forms and remain valid for 90 days after closing (document details from RFQ advert).
