ALIENATION OF VARIOUS MUNICIPAL PROPERTIES IN PIKETBERGClosed

Overview

Procurement of the alienation (sale) of seven unserviced municipal erven in Piketberg’s industrial area, using a two-envelope tender process. Bidders with experience in land development, town planning, property investment,.and related regulatory approvals should engage. The properties have predefined reserve prices and a two-stage evaluation (development proposal first, then financial offer).

Notes from attached document (T 8/3/34-2026 MN107-2026 and related) indicate:

• Properties: Rem. Erf 4489; Erf 4551, 4552, 4550, 4549, 4548; Rem. Erf 4474.
• Reserve prices: Rem. Erf 4489 R5.215m; others R1.585m each (total approx. R14.725m).

Requirements

• Two-envelope tender: Envelope 1 for development proposals; Envelope 2 for financial offers, BBBEE and locality proof in separate envelopes.
• Tax clearance / SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or CSD registration; proof required with bid.
• Completion of MBD forms: MBD 2, 6.1, 8, 9; BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; Declaration by Tenderer; Form of Offer; etc.
• Preference points: 80/20 (up to R50m) with 10 points for specific goals and BBBEE; locality and PPPFA compliance.
• Site briefing/clarification meetings: attendance mandatory; non-attendance disqualifies.
• Compliance with the SCM policy, VAT considerations, and signing in black ink on official forms.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 12:00, 11 August 2026; submissions to the Tender Box (Bergrivier Municipal Building, 13 Church Street, Bergrivier) or as specified (see attached document for exact box location) (see T 8/3/34-2026 MN107-2026).
• Submission method: sealed bids in two envelopes; Envelope 1 for development proposals; Envelope 2 for financial offers.
• Documents to submit: Tax clearance / TCS PIN or CSD number; MBD 2, MBD 6.1, MBD 8, MBD 9; Development Proposal; Form of Offer; Declaration by Tenderer; Proof of locality; BBBEE certificate/sworn affidavit.
• Pre-qualifications/registrations: Tax clearance; SARS e-Filing status; CSD registration if applicable; proof of locality (municipal accounts, lease, CK, SARS, etc.).
• Briefing/site meetings: compulsory briefing on 22 July 2026 at 11:00, Bergrivier Municipal Offices, 13 Kerk Street, Piketberg (see attached document for details).
