Ankerlig 1 Power Station Fire Protection System

Overview

Procurement of a long-term service contract for the Ankerlig 1 Power Station Fire Protection System, covering inspection, servicing, testing and supply of spares. Target bidders are professional services providers with engineering, safety and maintenance capabilities in power generation and fire protection.

Requirements

• Eskom eligibility: bidders must meet Eskom's eligibility criteria and not be restricted from doing business with Eskom or State-Owned Companies; not on international sanction lists.
• Tender submissions: only one tender per bidder; JV/consortium limits apply on the e-tendering system; if a JV, parties shall be jointly and severally liable.
• Mandatory clarifications: attendance at the compulsory site clarification meeting; non-attendance results in disqualification.
• Pre-qualification/standards: CIDB registration; completion of SBD forms (SBD1, SBD6.1, SBD4); local/import content declarations; tax questionnaire; safety, quality and integrity requirements (Integrity Pact, OHS, QA/QC) as applicable.
