Ankerlig 2 Power Station Fire Protection System

Overview

Procurement of a NEC3 Term Service Contract for the Ankerlig 2 Fire Protection System, including inspection, servicing, testing and supply of spares. Bidders should have fire protection/electrical/engineering service capability and meet Eskom’s eligibility criteria; open to a single firm or a joint venture/consortium.

Requirements

• Eskom eligibility: no restrictions to do business with Eskom/State-Owned Companies; JV allowed; single bid allowed; must not be on sanctions lists.
• Compliance: adhere to Eskom Standard Conditions of Tender and Supplier Integrity Pact; submit required SBD forms and local content documentation (Annexures A–J; G1–G4 if applicable).
• Technical/safety: meet OHS and safety requirements and quality controls as per attachments; CIDB registration and SDL&I targets where applicable.
• Mandatory site meeting: attendance at the compulsory site clarification meeting is required for eligibility (27 Oct 2026).

• Submission: electronic via Eskom E-tendering site.

• Briefing: compulsory site clarification session on 27 Oct 2026 at Ankerlig; confirm attendance by 23 Oct 12:00.
