Overview

This is a construction tender for the Apollo Converter Station water deluge system and replacement of a 1 million litre tank, i.e., civil works. Bidders should be qualified civil/construction contractors with CIDB accreditation appropriate to civil works, plus demonstrated SHEQ capability, local-content compliance, and related statutory registrations. Requirements

• CIDB registration or proven ability to obtain within 21 working days; CIDB evidence required at submission (CIDB 2.28).

• Site-specific SHEQ compliance: provide SHEQ documentation and appoint full-time Safety Officer; ensure ORHVS officer on site where applicable (SHEQ requirements documented in pricing and site bills).
• Local content: complete SBD 6.2 Annex C/D/E declarations; observe SATS 1286:2011 thresholds and SARB exchange rates for imported content.
• Pre-qualification: CIDB registration; SDL&I Undertaking by contract award; SDL&I verification may be required.
• Site visit/clarification: mandatory attendance as per Tender Data (site access and clarifications).
