Overview

Procurement of a service provider to perform Legal Compliance Audit, maintain a Legal Register, and provide legal assistance call line and email services for all SABS sites over 36 months. Bidders should be qualified legal/consulting providers with experience in legal compliance audits, HSE regulatory matters, and delivering advisory telephone/email support across multiple SABS sites (Port Elizabeth, East London, Groenkloof/Pretoria, Olifantsfontein, Richards Bay, Cape Town, Secunda, Durban). Mandatory staff requirements include a qualified attorney/advocate with 10+ years’ experience, COIDA good standing, and a Legal Practice Council good standing for each practitioner; at least one practitioner must be Gauteng-based (proof of address required). Requirements

• Mandatory qualifications and documentation
• COIDA Letter of Good Standing
• Good Standing Certificate from the Legal Practice Council for each practitioner
• Practitioner based in Gauteng with proof of address
• CSD registration report, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, SBD 4, SBD 6.1
• Functionality criteria: minimum 10 years’ attorney/advocate experience; at least 3 professional references not older than 12 months
• Quotation must be on company letterhead; regional site visits quoted ad hoc
• Bid valid for 120 days; SABS may extend by up to 60 days
• Pricing to be all-inclusive of VAT; payment on delivery; no advance payment
