Overview

RFQ to appoint a suitably qualified and accredited contractor to perform annual statutory maintenance of all fire protection equipment at Groenkloof, NETFA and Secunda, including inspection, testing, servicing, repairs, and certification. Suitable bidders are fire protection service providers with SAQCC Fire Technician certification, CIDB 2SF or higher, and COIDA registration, capable of delivering comprehensive maintenance and certification.

Requirements

• Mandatory requirements: COIDA registration; CIDB 2SF or higher; valid SAQCC Fire Technician certificate.
• Bid documents to submit: National Treasury CSD registration report; valid BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; SBD 4; SBD 6.1.
• Technical functionality (minimum 70%):
  • Company experience (years in fire equipment maintenance)
  • Fire Technician experience (CV, qualifications, SAQCC registration)
  • References (3+ relevant, current within 5 years)
• Evaluation: 80/20 price vs specific goals; preference points for specific goals if claimed.
• Other: proposals valid for 120 days; potential extension up to 60 days; no advance payment; all-inclusive VAT pricing.
