Overview

Procurement of an experienced service provider to undertake demographic surveys in informal settlements and backyards in the Stellenbosch Municipal Areas (WC024), ending 30 June 2029. Suitable bidders are firms with proven experience in demographic/household surveys, field data collection, sampling, data management and related analytics, with credentials such as relevant certifications, and the ability to deliver under census-style fieldwork.

Requirements

• Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and comply with tax requirements (Tax Compliance Status or SARS PIN).
• Submit MBD forms (e.g., MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 8, MBD 9, MBD 10) and pricing schedule; provide BBBEE documentation or sworn affidavit.
• Compulsory Clarification Meeting attendance (via Microsoft Teams) and timeframes for providing contact details.
• Locality, BBBEE status, and price determining 80/20 scoring; comply with GCC/GCC-like conditions and Stellenbosch procurement policies.
• Foreign suppliers must complete the pre-award questionnaire; separate TCS/PINs for consortium members as applicable.
• Tender documents must be sealed, clearly marked, and accompanied by the full tender package.
