Overview

Appointment for a professional environmental monitoring consultancy specializing in landfill compliance monitoring for the New England Road Landfill Site. Bidders should be environmental consultants with landfill monitoring, WML compliance reporting, and related expertise; must meet governance and procurement requirements (EAPASA registration, CIDB where relevant, tax/compliance, CSD).

Requirements

• Environmental Specialist registered with the Environmental Assessment Practitioners Association of SA (EAPASA) with at least 5 years’ relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare Environmental Monitoring Reports under a Landfill Waste Management License (5+ reports in past 3 years).
• Evidence of completed projects: appointment letters and reference letters.
• Compliance with CIDB regulations (provide CIDB number/active status); adherence to other applicable professional registrations as relevant.
• Tax compliance: valid Tax Clearance Certificate and SARS Tax Compliance Status Verification Pin; if already on CSD, provide CSD details.
• CSD registration: provide CSD Supplier Number and Unique Registration Reference Number.
• Pricing must be VAT-inclusive; complete all required data sheets and forms (e.g., MBD 3.x, MBD 4, MBD 8, MBD 9) and have them properly signed.
• Professional Indemnity insurance to be provided after award; other standard contractual documents to be completed.
• All bid documents must be on official forms and signed; late or non-responsive bids are disqualified.
