Overview

APPOINTMENT OF A CISCO PARTNER SERVICE PROVIDER FOR PURCHASING AND MAINTENANCE OF CISCO WIRELESS ACCESS POINTS AND WIRELESS CONTROLLERS FOR A PERIOD OF 5 YEARS. The SABC seeks a Cisco networking partner to procure, install, commission, and provide 5-year maintenance (Smart Net) for the wireless LAN solution at Auckland Park, including RF planning for a single site.

Who should bid: ICT/networking integrators with Cisco Authorized/Preferred Partner status, capable of supplying and supporting CW9800M controllers, CW9176i APs (WiFi 7), PoE injectors, 10G SFP modules, DNA Advantage licences, and full installation, RF planning, and next-business-day hardware replacement. Bidders must meet mandatory pre-qualifications (CSD, TV license validity, Tax clearance, BBBEE, company/ director documentation).

Requirements

• Mandatory qualifications and documents (from the RFQ) including: Cisco Manufacturer Authorization Letter/Form (MAF) valid at closing; proof of CSD registration; valid TV License; Tax Clearance or SARS PIN; BBBEE certificate; certified company registration; shareholders’ certificates; IDs for directors/members. • Technical scope: 2 CW9800M Cisco Wireless Controllers; 100 CW9176i Wireless Access Points; 8 PoE injectors; 8 SFP-10G-SR modules; 5-year licences (DNA Advantage); ancillary equipment; 5-year Smart Net maintenance with next-day hardware replacement; installation and RF planning for a single site.
