APPOINTMENT OF A CONSULTANT (ELECTRONIC ENGINEER) TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL

Overview

Appointment of a consultant (Electronic Engineer) to provide technical advice on CCTV cameras and access control systems. Bidders must be suitably qualified electronic/electrical engineers with PSIRA, COIDA, and ECSA registrations (or equivalent), and must provide references, PSIRA certificate, COIDA, and SBD 4/6.1 documentation; National Treasury CSD registration is required.

Requirements

• Valid Company PSIRA certificate, director PSIRA registration certificates, and PSIRA Letter of Good Standing
• Valid COIDA registration
• Valid Company or Consultants’ ECSA certificate
• Three or more contactable references letters (CCTV installation & access control), not older than 5 years
• Detailed CVs showing consultant experience (5+ years in CCTV installation & access control)
• Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) with certificate
• BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
• National Treasury CSD registration report
• SBD 4 Bidder’s Disclosure Form
• SBD 6.1 Preference Points Claim Form
• Quotation validity: 120 days from closing date
• Evaluation under 80/20 (price vs. specific goals) with applicable goals documented
