Overview

Appointment of a contractor to repair the fault in the B3 feeder cable at Isithebe Industrial Estate. Suitable bidders are electrical contracting firms with HV cable jointing experience (11kV PILC copper), including excavation and reinstatement work, and who are CIDB-registered (1EP or higher). Bidders must be tax compliant, registered on CSD or provide a SARS PIN, and complete official bid forms.

Requirements

• CIDB grading: valid 1EP or higher.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN or TCS; separate TCS/CSD for consortia/JV/sub-contractors; CSD number if no TCS.
• Registration: Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; VAT where applicable; tax clearance.
• Bidding forms: SBD 1 (invitation to bid, with resolution), and SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest).
• Occupational Health and Safety: valid Letter of Good Standing.
• Evaluation: 80/20 price and specific goals; specific-goal documentation required (certified copies for ownership by Black individuals, Women, Youth, and People with Disability).
