Appointment of a contractor on a rates-based NEC4 Term Service Contract to attend to latent defects and emergency works at Makonde Clinic, Thohoyandou. Suitable for construction/maintenance contractors with CIDB Grade 2 GB or higher (or a JV with valid grading) to provide civil, mechanical, electrical and emergency-response services in the Vhembe District (Limpopo).

Requirements

• CIDB grading: Level 2 GB or higher (or valid CIDB JV grading).
• Returnables and certifications:
  • CIDB certificate (Annexure B)
  • Certified trade qualification in plumbing (Annexure B)
  • Valid wireman licence for proposed electrician (Annexure B)
  • Three similar projects with min value R500,000 each, with client references (Annexure B)
  • Company registration documents (Annexure C)
  • Central Supplier Database and tax compliance status (Annexure C)
  • Standard Bidding Documents (SBD 4, 5, 6.1) and COIDA good standing (Annexure D)
  • Addendums (Annexure E)
• B-BBEE: Complete B-BBEE status claim using 80/20 (≤ R50m) or 90/10 system (above R50m) with proof.
• National Industrial Participation (NIP): If contract > R10m, sign NIP obligations and report to DTI; duration up to 7 years (SBD 5).
• Indemnification: Contractor indemnifies NDoH for claims arising from performance.
• Sub-contracting: If applicable, provide sub-contractor details (percentage, B-BBEE status, etc.).
• Other: No external link submissions; questions due 2 days before closing; bid must be signed and submitted via email attachments.
