APPOINTMENT OF A CONTRACTOR TO SUPPLY AND INSTALL CHECKER PLATE COVERS/HANDRAILS FOR SUBSTATION CABLE TRENCH AROUND THE ESTATE

Overview

Appointment of a contractor to supply and install checker plate covers/handrails for substation cable trench around the estate. The project involves supplying 5mm checker plates and installing handrails at substations around the Isithebe estate; intended for construction/metalwork contractors with CIDB 1EB or higher and installation capability. Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and in good standing with SARS, and able to provide the required bid documentation (SBD forms, declaration of interest, COIDA, etc.).

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 1EB or higher
• CSD registration and good standing with SARS (PIN/TCS)
• Tax clearance or SARS PIN
• Completion of official bid forms: SBD 1 and SBD 4, including a resolution if not a sole proprietor
• Declaration of Interest (SBD 4)
• COIDA and valid COIDA/COIDA clearance
• Proof of CIDB grading and related registrations
• Compliance with SCM conditions (no involvement in service of the state, etc.)
